Fraction Reflection
As a Learners:
What did I learn during the two different lessons?
When I was learning from Henry and Stella were teaching me Adding Fractions and when I was learning from Micah and Owen were also teaching Adding Fractions.
What could have been better?
Micah and Owen could be less silly and Henry could try and explain a bit better.
As a Teacher:
What were the strengths of my / our teaching?
Differently when I was teaching in the second half everybody said that it was really fun and enjoyable and we supported them and we were teaching them strategies to help make it easier.
What could have been better?
Our intro was quite bad because everybody was talking and it was hard to explain and we probably said it at the wrong time.
As an Observer:
What did I learn from being an observer?
I learnt that it is a lot harder to teach when you are beginning because you could say something wrong,you could teach the wrong thing,and people might not agree with you.
Would you like the opportunity to teach children in another area of maths? Why or why not?
I would love to have another opportunity like this to teach because I felt that it was easy to explain things and you can learn from each other about things.
As I had a scroll around my house a butterfly flew right past.It's purple and black wings had a magnificent glow telling me where to go.
I followed the butterfly here and there until it disappeared somewhere.I lunged over the flower bed to find lots of species but not the magnificent one I had seen earlier.
The rest of the day I had no luck. So I went out to clear my heart.My walk was lonely, lonely and indeed but then a spark had caught my eye. It was a magnificent sight.The purple and black shimmer sparkled on its body.It was my butterfly.

Basic Facts Graph Term 1 and 2.
This graph shows the progress made by students over Terms 1 and 2 with their Basic Facts Tests. The aim is for students to become automatic with their knowledge of Addition and Subtraction to 20, and Multiplication and Division to 100 by the end of year 6. This will help students gain better understandings with other Strands, Concepts and Problems.

Being Brainy
When we had 4 visitors that came in to talk to us about brains and what they had inside them and some of the nerves. We also had a look at some real brains and we did have a look at some human brains but it was a photo.
There were some activities that we did like Putting on T-shirts on with buttons but not with our writing hand. And Making brain hats and writing our name on pieces of paper but looking in a mirror. But my most favorite thing we did was Holding real brains. The brains were not human brains, they were animals. The animals were Cats, Mouse and Monkey. But there were no dolphin brains that were there. Because we had a look at dolphin brains in a photo and the team did not bring some.

Easttle Test - Writing
Do you agree that sport is better than music ? Well I have 2 important facts which all are very interesting and might perswade you to agree with me.
I personally agree that you need to be able to play sport to be able to keep yourself fit and healthy. Perhaps you could win a race or a triathlon because you put the time and effort into playing sport.
Secondly I believe that you could end up with a very good looking body if you play sports. I also believe that sports is practically the same as working at the gym except you are just working on your thighs.
So now I have explained to you why “ Sport is better than music “ you should say to me … Yes, sport is better than music because of all the good reasons. And I would say you are totally right. But are you going to do more sports ?
